David’s passion and primary focus is on building and capturing value in companies in the middle market (which typically have annual revenues in the range of $20 million to $500 million). “We partner with business owners and executives in a diverse range of industries, providing tailored financing solutions, strategic advisory, and M&A strategies to create wealth.”

Having founded his own companies,and launched and led investment banking functions within leading financial firms, David sees the world through an entrepreneur’s lens. He has a keen understanding of the Canadian business landscape and, as a Chartered Financial Planner and Chartered Financial Analyst, is adept at creating value within that landscape. He is proud to put his knowledge to work for current and future business leaders as an advisor to IG’s business owner clientele, and as a part-time lecturer in mergers & acquisitions and strategic business advisory at the Ivey School of Business at Western University.
